Had an order for some birthday cupcakes. My original plan turned out to be a flop, so this was plan B. I actually love how they turned out. I think they're super cute! They definitely remind me of the movie "UP" :) And they definitely scream "Happy Birthday" :) Great for any birthday or graduation!

Cupcake Flower Bouquet

Hey everyone!

So I'm really excited to share these cupcakes with you! I'm kinda in love with them!!! Not to mention, Valentine's Day is coming up.........hint hint! If you ask me, flower cupcakes are way better than actual flowers!!! And.....these are also good for anniversaries, birthdays, Easter gatherings, dinner parties, baby/bridal showers, or just because :) And they're also delish! Vanilla bean with vanilla butter cream frosting.

Key Lime Cupcakes

Hey friends!

Glad to see you back again!!! Here is my third (and final) batch of the day. They are definitely my favorite out of the three! Key Lime cupcakes. They are a vanilla cake, key lime filling and meringue topping. Not only do they look AMAZING they taste even better! The cake is moist on the inside and slightly crispy on the edges, the key lime filling tastes exactly like the pie and the meringue is so light, yet gooey. So yummy! I am so happy with this cupcake and the way it turned out! I'll definitely be making these again!!!

Chocolate Eclair Cupcakes (For real this time)

Hello Friends,

Here is the second batch of the day! Last time I tried to make these cupcakes, it was a disaster. I burned the custard and ended up turning them into something totally different. This time was a total success!!! You know what they say, "If you don't succeed, try try again!" So here they are. Yellow cake, filled with custard and topped with chocolate. They are so great! So glad that I tried to make them again :) Take a look!

Vanilla Bean & Strawberry

Hey everyone!!!

In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. day and the fact that we had it off, I baked :) I made three kinds of cupcakes today and all of them are DELICIOUS!!! The first of the 3 is a vanilla bean cupcake with strawberry frosting. First, I have to say that the vanilla cake (made with a real vanilla bean) is incredible!!! Probably my favorite vanilla cake thus far! As far as the strawberry frosting......it looks kinda gross, but it tastes amazing! I think it got lumpy because I added more frozen strawberries than I was supposed to. Oops ;) Now I know for next time. But either way, sooooooo good! Check'em out :)

NOT Chocolate Eclairs! HA!

So tonight I was going to try a new recipe - Chocolate Eclair cupcakes. Well, that didn't work out so well. Unfortunately I burned the custard and didn't have the energy to make a new batch. So, I present to you......vanilla cupcakes, chocolate-peanut butter filling, chocolate ganache and sprinkled with chocolate chip cookie crumbs ;) Just kinda started throwing things together. They turned out great though :) Sometimes mistakes turn out to be something great!

Lemon Cupcakes

Hey Everyone!

I had an itch to bake today and decided to try another new recipe. Lemon cupcakes, lemon pudding filling and lemon whipped cream frosting - each of them topped with a little lemon zest garnish :) They're super good and quite refreshing. All those co-workers of mine who made New Year's Resolutions aren't going to be too happy with me ;) haha. Take a look!
